“Every bad feeling is potential energy toward a more right way of being if you give it space to move toward its rightness.” - Eugene Gendlin

My aim as a somatic tattoo practitioner is to give space for the pain to move toward its rightness, in ways that it is able to. Welcoming all of your being.

A young person with short hair, multiple facial piercings, and extensive black tattoos on their neck, chest, shoulder, and arm, including geometric patterns, spiral designs, and tribal motifs.

Are you ready to experience a somatic approach to tattooing?

What I offer to my clients is a relational experience, a collaborative descent into the landscape of your body, where we meet each other with presence and the design emerges from the conversation between us.

Each piece is freehand and unique to your body. Each session is held in a container of consent, care, and deep listening.

The Process

1. Enquiry

You reach out with your idea. This doesn't need to be fully formed and can be as simple as noticing what shapes & textures you are drawn. We begin a conversation when you are ready to step into this journey.

2. Consultation

Before we meet in person, we will have an optional phone or video call. This is where we talk through the concept, discuss any questions or concerns, and feel into whether we're a good fit.

3. Container

On the day, we start by establish the container together. We talk through boundaries, needs, intentions. I explain what's going to happen and we agree on how we'll communicate throughout. Nothing begins until you're ready.

4. Session

After an opening practice, I draw directly on your skin, forming the design layer by layer. You can see it, respond to it, request adjustments. Once we've agreed on the drawing, the tattooing begins. The session always moves at the pace your body needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I charge a day rate rather than by the hour, which allows the session to unfold without time pressure. Currently, I charge £380 for half day session and £600 for full day session.

Pricing depends on the scale and complexity of the piece. I'm transparent about costs from the start & if you have a budget, we can always adjust the design to fit your needs.

  • That's fine. Most people don't arrive with a finished concept. What helps is knowing where on your body you want to be marked, a sense of the density (heavy blackwork vs. light and sparse), and any visual references like my previous work, images from other sources, existing tattoos on your body. We build from there.

For folks who really have no idea, I offer a guided meditation to map the body for the tattoo session where you can locate where the marking wants to arise in you.

  • The design is drawn on your skin during the session, not beforehand. You will see it before any tattooing happens, and we can adjust until it feels right, no matter how long it takes. But there won't be a digital mock-up or paper sketch in advance.

The magic of freehand takes place through the container setting which is a vital part of the session. The freehand process is a balance of safety & surrender.

  • Many of my clients come to me specifically because previous experiences were uncomfortable, rushed, or left them feeling unseen. This work is designed to be different. The consultation, the check-ins, the pacing, and the access to resources are all ingrained in my process to create a corrective experience. If you're nervous, we can talk through it before you commit to anything.

  • The forms I create, at their core, bloom from the body’s shapes, contours, and individual terrains. I am deeply inspired by the organic matters of mould, marine invertebrates, sprouting seeds, and the infinite expansion of extraterrestrial maps and cosmologies.

The symbols that emerge from the skin are intuitively crafted, scripting a language that is composed of primordial symbols that our bodies are ancestrally & collectively familiar with.

  • I travel regularly between the west, the east, and beyond, tattooing in different cities throughout the year.
